You probably knew this was coming—THE POOL! What would an Ultimate Beach House be without an Ultimate Beach House Pool? This pool was nice and big (I stepped it off as 55 ft by 15 ft—an unscientific measurement system but pretty darn close most of the time.)
The area around the pool is covered in crushed shells.
What do you think of the patio furniture in the pool? These lounge chairs were sitting on the tanning deck—an area that’s about 4-6 inches deep—perfect for lying around in the water soaking up the sun or playing with a toddler.
I spent a lot of time sitting in the chair below, taking it all in. I fluffed the pillow when I was done.
This pool/courtyard is very private so it would be possible…
Pavers were used very well and added some color. Too much bright white cement would have been awful.
That’s it for the Coastal Living Ultimate Beach House—it will be featured in the October issue of Coastal Living Magazine.
Later,
Patti

We love this pool.. we have a very small area and loads of subdivision restrictions… We are looking for someone to design a pool… would you be available to talk?
Hi Patti…I think we were there at the same time!!! What a gorgeous house….I also did a post and linked to you for more detailed photos! You really covered it:)
That home is gorgeous Patti!…Can’t wait for the magazine to come out….Thanks for giving us a sneak peek!!…Have a great day!!
Those in-pool seats are a nifty idea! Why hasn’t anyone done that before? Or have they?
I love the greens they chose for this area. Very restful, and it doesn’t fight with the landscaping. I also like the sense of enclosure and privacy, something most pool areas don’t have. And who doesn’t want an outdoor kitchen like that?
Thanks for the preview, Patti.
