The Kirkwood Flip Final Update

This is the final update on the Kirkwood Flip.—It’s Sold and the new owners have moved in—happily I believe.

We bought this gem in the rough at the end of March, renovated it and put it on the market at the end of July.

It sold in 10 DAYS!!!  For FULL PRICE!!

Now, I have to remind everybody, this isn’t our first flip so we weren’t greedy with our pricing. But there were 3 offers made on the same day (yes, I was so excited I couldn’t sleep).

I miss the house.  I really like it.

Super job and congratulations for the quick sale at the price you wanted! SO nice to see things done right. There have been some godawful flips in my area, on houses of about the same vintage as this one, and it really is pretty upsetting. (I’m an old house lover and our “flips” — if you can call projects that took a year or more to complete — were not corner-cutters!)

  2. Congratulations. Having a plan, buying right, doing the right fix-ups, and pricing it right — obviously you did it all the way you’re supposed to! Nice work. I’d be awake all night, too.
