To burgkunstadt deserves

Elmar bergmann and his wife klothilde, nee sachs, celebrated their rare diamond wedding anniversary in the closest of circles. In the church of strossendorf, pastor johannes wachowski, thomas bahr on the organ and soprano evi kral performed the solemn thanksgiving service.
Elmar bergmann, a native of burgkunstadt, worked in the former gotthard shoe factory, where he met his wife, a native of altenkunstadt. Their joint activities in the trade union youth and the gymnastics and choir club brought them closer together. They married in 1957, the two sons jurgen and udo lived out their lives. In 1973, the couple built a house on prelles, where they spend their evenings. The couple supported many social and cultural associations, and elmar is a founding member of many of them. He was a member of the city council for over 40 years and was active in the district council for 24 years. His life's work, together with rudi barth, was the creation of the german museum of cobbler. For his services, the city council appointed him an honorary citizen in 1996. For the district of lichtenfels congratulated district administrator christian meibner, the congratulations of the city of burgkunstadt conveyed third mayor manfred hofmann, the pastors kosma rejmer and heinz geier conveyed congratulations and blessings of the two churches. A delegation from the burgkunstadt music society also offered their warm congratulations.
